The Reading RoomLibrary resources play an important role at Schiller and the library at the Paris campus provides a comfortable ambience and all the facilities the students and faculty need for their study and research purposes.

Our book collection consists of about 5,000 volumes specialized on the subjects we teach, 2 newspapers, 3 magazines and 2 academic periodicals in print and access to several hundreds of online periodicals, and to diverse databases that meet research needs across all academic fields.

The Library and Information Resources Network, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation formed in 1996, is a consortium of educational institutions that have joined together to share access to information resources.

Bibliothèque Nationale de France (BNF)

The Bibliothèque nationale de France collects, preserves and makes known the national documentary heritage.
The BnF’s collections are unique in the world: 14 million books and printed documents, manuscripts, prints, photographs, maps and plans, scores, coins, medals, sound documents, video and multimedia documents, scenery elements… All disciplines, whether intellectual, artistic or scientific, are represented in a comprehensive way. About 150 000 documents are added to the collections each year thanks to legal deposit, acquisitions and donations.

Bibliothèque publique d’information (BPI – Centre Pompidou)

The Bpi, located inside the Pompidou Centre in the centre of Paris, makes available to its users a rich and varied array of materials and services, free of charge and highly accessible without any formalities, on the spot and on-line.
The Library contains a range of encyclopaedic collections of materials that include up-to-date documents in every possible format: printed materials, sound and visual documents, digital materials. They give access to knowledge, entertainment and culture, information and lifelong learning, and can be consulted on the spot.

The French capital has an excellent network of some sixty public libraries. Do you want to read a novel, comic book or children’s story or borrow a CD or DVD? They also organise plenty of activities.
More than sixty public libraries managed by the Mairie de Paris (Paris City Hall) await you. The municipal lending network gives you access to over 3.5 million documents: books, compact discs, DVDs, comic books, children’s books, CD ROMs, music scores, language learning methods, etc.
